This piece is about women; the societal roles placed upon each woman and their conflict within them. Facets of focused, powerful, and educated women are detailed both within their disconnected and constructive sides. Directly affecting these roles is self-worth, personal and external criticisms, beauty myths linked to pop culture, and the media’s feminine ideals. Furthermore, the capitalized view of women as sexual objects and its correlation to interpersonal relationships is presented.
