Mal Abrite, begins with vibrant yellow text typed along the black
wall. Recorded spoken text, in a loud public place, commemorates moments in the life of the now visible solo performer. Although the dialog renders nonchalant airs, the performer intimately touches his bare chest. The trivial conversation questioning casual experiences ironically deliver a somber discovery of identity. This strong image of a man in a beautiful long skirt is accompanied by the slow carving of space with his arms. His leaps are bursts of movement that are very pleasing to the eye as the skirt sweeps in arcs. The performer breaks his trance walking to an upstage corner as the music fades. He exposes himself physically while sweetly singing lyrics that expose him emotionally. The audience witnesses his depth of hurt. Returning to the trance, he revolutionizes his self with larger.
